MY HEALTH INSURANCE BILL

if you can answer the following questions, all "YES", then the government will pay your premium, you pay co-pays, in the health insurance plan all federal amployees currently use. This is a work in progress, but I believe I might capitulate a little and agree to providing insurance for these people.

1. Are you and can you prove that you are an American citizen?

2. Is you annual gross income less than 50,000? (flexible on that number)

3. Are you currently ineligable for any other goverment run health care program and can you show proof of declination?

4. Are you willing to submit to random drug screenings and, if positive, willing to complete a drug abatement program? (note: positive test will NOT disenroll, but failure to complete abatement plan in prescribed time would)

5. If unemployed or reporting no federal income on taxes, are you willing to volunteer for some type of public service in your particular field of expertise 15 hrs/wk.

Meet Me In The Stairwell

You say you will never forget where you were when you heard the news On September 11, 2001. Neither will I.

I was on the 110th floor in a smoke filled room with a man who called his wife to say "Good-Bye." I held his fingers steady as he dialed. I gave him the peace to say, "Honey, I am not going to make it, but it is OK...I am ready to go."

I was with his wife when he called as she fed breakfast to their children. I held her up as she tried to understand his words and as she realized he wasn't coming home that night.

I was in the stairwell of the 23rd floor when a woman cried out to Me for help. "I have been knocking on the door of your heart for 50 years!" I said. "Of course I will show you the way home - only believe in Me now."

I was at the base of the building with the Priest ministering to the injured and devastated souls. I took him home to tend to his Flock in Heaven. He heard my voice and answered.

I was on all four of those planes, in every seat, with every prayer. I was with the crew as they were overtaken. I was in the very hearts of the believers there, comforting and assuring them that their faith has saved them.

I was in Texas, Kansas, London. I was standing next to you when you heard the terrible news. Did you sense Me?

I want you to know that I saw every face. I knew every name - though not all know Me. Some met Me for the first time on the 86th floor.

Some sought Me with their last breath. Some couldn't hear Me calling to them through the smoke and flames; "Come to Me... this way... take my hand." Some chose, for the final time, to ignore Me. But, I was there.

I did not place you in the Tower that day. You may not know why, but I do. However, if you were there in that explosive moment in time, would you have reached for Me?

September 11, 2001 was not the end of the journey for you. But someday your journey will end. And I will be there for you as well. Seek Me now while I may be found. Then, at any moment, you know you are "ready to go."

I will be in the stairwell of your final moments.

White house states facts are a stubborn thing. How right they are, but how would they know as they cannot differentiate between facts and fantasy. Here is the scary part of the story...

An email from Grand Dad

Background
John (Grand Dad) is 63 years old and owns his own business. He is a life-long Republican and dreamed of retiring next year. This dream is now impossible because of the current economy. With the stock market crash and all of the imminent tax hikes, John now knows he will be working for many years to come.

John has a Granddaughter, Ashley, who is a recent college grad. She drives a late model car, wears all the latest fashions, and enjoys “going out” and eating in restaurants. Ashley campaigned hard for Obama, and after he won the election she made sure her Grandfather (and all other Republican family members) understood that the world is now going to be a much better place.

Ashley recently found herself short on cash-again, and she cannot pay her bills. As she has done many other times in the past, she e-mailed her Grandfather and asked for some financial help.

Here is his reply

Sweetheart,

I am replying to your request for more money. Ashley, you know I love you dearly and am sympathetic to your financial plight. Unfortunately, times have changed and I am unable to help you. With the election of President Obama, your Grandmother and I have had to set forth a bold new economic plan for our lives.

Let me explain.

As you know, your grandmother and I have worked hard at growing our small business for many years. We have lived a “comfortable” life, but have forgone many “extras” like fancy vacations and luxury cars. We were looking forward to retiring soon, but this is no longer a possibility. Our new President is significantly raising personal and business tax rates. He says it is so he can give our hard earned money to other people. But for us, it means that we must cut back on many business and personal expenses.

We were forced to let our receptionist go today. You remember her. She always gave you candy when you visited my office. Did you know she worked for us for the past 18 years? I can’t afford her anymore.

Obama’s tax plans also affect our ability to help you. Over the years your grandmother and I have given you thousands of dollars in cash, tuition assistance, food, housing, clothing, gifts, and so forth. But with the current economy and President Obama’s new liberal policies, we no longer have disposable income to give to you. Remember how you told me, “Only the richest of the rich will be affected”? Guess what, honey. Because of our business, your Grandmother and I are now considered to be wealthy. On paper, it might look that way. But the reality is, we are far from it. As you said while campaigning for Obama, some people will have to carry more of the burden so all of America can prosper. Since we are unable to help you, I suggest that you give the White House a call at 202-456-1111 and see if Mr. Obama can send you a check.

I'm not concerned about the slaughter of millions of babies so long

I think illegal aliens have a right to free health care,
education, and Social Security benefits.

I believe that business should not be allowed to make profits for
themselves. They need to break even and give the rest away to
the government for redistribution as the democrats see fit.

I believe liberal judges need to rewrite The Constitution every few
days to suit some fringe kooks who would never get their agendas
past the voters.

My head is so firmly planted up my butt that it is unlikely that I'll

"Tolerant" left...

Those that know me know I am never afraid to speak my mind, but generally do it in a thoughtful manner. I know that we (Christians) are judged constantly, so I try to choose my words carefully. I use the same mentality when putting politcally charges signs up on my car.None have vulgarity of any type.

Over the past months I have been flipped off, cut off, yelled at (they would nnot disuss issues, just wanted to paint me a racist and move on), and had what I believe to be a firearm brandished at me...but nothing really bad. Imaging my suprise yesterday when I left work to find this done to my car:







If you can't tell, the last picture shows the word "Obama" scratched into my driver's door with a sharp object of some sort.

Techically this is change. Noone has ever been quite so gutless toward me before. Oh well, I guess freedom of speech only applies if that speech agrees with the left.
