Had to include Peanut's bookshelf as well...
Here are a few pictures of Joshua's new bookshelf. In case it is too hard to really see, it is in the shape of a castle with the walls looking like cracking stone.

Cute stuff!
That's pretty cool! Is it sturdy? Where did you get it?
(Sturdy in reference to the fact that I have three boys with special needs who made a wooden swing set crack in half. ;-) )
Stephaine,
Yes it is sturdy. It supported my 240+ pounds (standing on it). If it is anchored into the wall it will prevent forward tip too.
I got it as a 4X8 sheet of 3/4" MDF at home depot. Several hours of cutting and glueing and fastening and painting later it is what you see. One of a kind. I did make my little girl one too. I'll post those pict soon. Her's is similar to the ones you see in pottery barn kids for $300+ bucks, only hers is larger and (IMHO) far better :)
Thank you for answering my question. My brother is a cabinet designer by trade (studying to be an architect) and when I have the money I'm going to have him design and build my children a sturdy toy storage/organizer thingy (me and my oh-so-technical terms). Would you mind if I sent him a picture of this to see if he could possibly incorporate some of the castle-theme you used into his design?
